BIOMAT® AirBox® 

The 402 air holes in the BIOMAT® AirBox® and the breathable film of the BIOMAT® compostable rubbish bags combine to bring a breath of fresh air to your compostable waste. In plain English: water can evaporate through the membrane formed by the biodegradable rubbish bags and the holes in the AirBox®, the compostable waste stays dry and fresh, and you can breathe deeply again at last, because the air is clean!

BIOMAT® compostable waste bags straight off the roll, made from velvety soft, breathable biodegradable film ensure that compostable waste collection is fresher and easier than ever. Because they are:

  • heat-resistant up to 50°C
  • also suitable for home composting – certified according to OK compost HOME

Recycling Tip

BIOMAT® compostable waste bags are manufactured using sustainable raw materials and are proven to be biodegradable and suitable for recycling in biogas plants. To prove this the certified biodegradable rubbish bags carry the following symbols:

Tips:

  • Tied up bags keep the recycling bins clean
  • For hygiene reasons, BIOMAT® compostable waste bags should never be used for compostable waste collection for longer than one week
  • Heat-resistant up to 50°C. Please allow hot compostable waste to cool down before putting it into the bag.
  • Break sharp objects up into small pieces beforehand and if possible wrap them up in kitchen roll.
  • Do not put liquid kitchen waste such as soup or sauce into BIOMAT® compostable waste bags.
